SHORT SYNOPSIS
On 7 October 1571 the two major forces of that time -Ottoman Empire and a coalition of Catholic states- engage in a naval war in the Gulf of Lepanto (Nafpaktos). The Battle of Lepanto is one of the greatest of its kind, a key point for the world history and a turning point for naval tactics and shipbuiliding. Filmed in Nafpatkos and Kefalonia, with interviews, gravures of that time and 3D animation, this medium length docudrama shows the events before and after the battle and focuses on the actual day of the famous battle.
